Siemens Energy develops and manufactures world-leading gas turbines for a global market. In Trollhättan, combustion chambers for gas turbines are manufactured, specializing in the production of parts made of stainless steel, alloys, and heat-resistant materials.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform laser cutting/welding according to drawings and welding procedures (WPS).• Set up, monitor, and operate fiber laser machines (Trumpf)• Ensure incoming materials meet quality standards.• Prepare materials, fixtures, and equipment for welding.• Check dimensions and weld quality according to drawing specifications and quality standards.• Document completed work and any deviations.• Participate in improvement work, production meetings, and quality reviews.

Working hours are on a 2-shift schedule:

• Day shift: Monday – Friday, 06:00 – 14:00

• Evening shift: Monday – Thursday, 14:00 – 23:30

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a background in laser cutting/welding or equivalent and who thrives in an environment where safety, quality, and precision are key. You are meticulous, responsible, and structured, with a good ability to collaborate and communicate.

• CNC training or equivalent education.• Experience in laser cutting and welding within the manufacturing industry.• Able to read and interpret drawings and welding symbols• Understanding of material properties and basic knowledge of laser parameters, fixturing, and clamping.

It is advantageous if you have:• Knowledge of LEAN/5S or similar production systems.• Experience with Trumpf control systems.

• Forklift license A2 and B3• Overhead crane license.
